With our Klaviyo integration, you can search for your images within Dash then export them directly to Klaviyo.
Skip having to download/re-upload images and send your creative straight from Dash to Klaviyo, ready to drop into any campaign.
A few things to know
Our Klaviyo integration is available to users on our current usage-based plans only.
Any user can use and set up the integration. You do not need to be an Admin.
You'll need a Klaviyo account (which you can create for free here).
Once a user has connected their Klaviyo account to Dash, this same account will be connected to and used by all other users. Only one Klaviyo account can be connected to your Dash.
Setting up the integration
Any user, both admins and non-admins, can set up our Klaviyo integration with Dash.
Before starting, go to Klaviyo and ensure you are logged into the account that you would like to connect to Dash. Alternatively, log out of Klaviyo by pressing your name in the bottom left corner of Klaviyo, then select Log out.
Option 1 - set up as an Admin user
Admin users can install the Dash app in Klaviyo from the Admin section:
Go to Admin > Integrations
Scroll down to Klaviyo
Click Install the Dash app in Klaviyo...
You'll be redirected to Klaviyo:
If you aren't already logged in, you'll be prompted to log in
Log in with the account that you would like to connect to Dash
Click Allow on the pop up to allow Dash to access your Klaviyo account
All done! The pop up will close and you'll be redirected back to Dash
Option 2 - set up as a non-Admin user (Basic or Contributor)
Alternatively, any user (both non-admins and admins) can install the Dash app in Klaviyo by attempting to export an image to Klaviyo:
Go to the Browse or All assets screen
Select an image/s you would like to export
Click the Share button at the top of the page
Click Export to Klaviyo
When prompted, click Install the Dash app in Klaviyo
You'll be redirected to Klaviyo:
If you aren't already logged in, you'll be prompted to log in
Log in with the account that you would like to connect to Dash
Click Allow on the pop up to allow Dash to access your Klaviyo account
All done! The pop up will close and you'll be redirected back to Dash
Optional: A pop up will appear when you return to Dash asking if you would like to export the image/s you initially selected when setting up the integration. Click Export to Klaviyo if you want to proceed. Otherwise, click Cancel.
Using the integration
Export your images to Klaviyo
Once you've connected your Klaviyo account to Dash, you can export any image from Dash to Klaviyo.
To export your images to Klaviyo from within Dash:
Go to the Browse or All assets screen
Select the image/s you would like to export. You can select multiple assets.
Click the Share button at the top of the page
Click Export to Klaviyo
A pop up will appear to confirm the number of assets you are exporting. Click Export to Klaviyo to start the export
All done! You will see a confirmation once the export has completed. Click on Go to Klaviyo to be redirected to Klaviyo
ℹ️ Note: The "Export to Klaviyo" button is not available when you view and click into an individual asset. You must select/tick the asset from the All assets or Browse screens, even if it is a single asset.
Access your images in Klaviyo
All images exported to Klaviyo will go to the Content > Media & brand > Images area in Klaviyo. This cannot be changed.
Select and use these images when creating your content and building campaigns within Klaviyo.
What files are supported?
All images stored in your Dash can be exported. Videos and all other file types are not supported.
You cannot choose a custom export size, the original asset is always exported.
Images larger than 1000 x 2000 px are downscaled to fit within this limit.
ℹ️ Note: There is a daily limit of 500 assets that can be exported to Klaviyo.

Do images exported to Klaviyo count towards my monthly download limit?
Yes, images exported to Klaviyo count towards your monthly download limit. Learn more about how we charge for your usage.
Will I see a warning if I export the same image twice?
No, Dash does not warn you if you've already exported an image. Exporting it again creates another copy in Klaviyo, with a numerical suffix added to its name to distinguish it from the previous copy.
Will new versions of my Dash images update automatically in Klaviyo?
No, uploading a new version in Dash does not automatically update the image in Klaviyo. Export the updated image again, then select it in any campaign where you want to use it.
Exporting again creates a separate copy in Klaviyo, so it does not replace the image you previously exported.
Do I need to change how I build campaigns in Klaviyo?
No, you can continue building campaigns as you do now. Instead of downloading images from Dash and uploading them to Klaviyo, export them directly from Dash. You can then select those images when editing your campaign.
Can I send images from Klaviyo to Dash?
No, the integration only exports images from Dash to Klaviyo. This helps you use brand-approved images from your Dash library in your campaigns.
Will all my Dash images be available in Klaviyo's campaign editor?
No, only the images you've exported from Dash will be available in Klaviyo. Before building your campaign, export the images you want to use. You'll find them under Content > Media & brand > Images in Klaviyo, ready to select in the campaign editor.
