How will my value-based subscription grow with my usage?

Learn about how your subscription reflects your usage

Updated over a week ago

Our value-based plan charges based on the following usage of your account:

  1. Total number of assets OR GB volume of assets (check your invoice to see which is correct for your plan)

  2. Total monthly downloads

When you subscribe to the value-based plan, you will choose your starting point for each of the above two metrics.

From that point onwards, we will monitor your usage and update your subscription accordingly.

For total number of assets / total volume of assets

For total number of assets or volume of assets, we will automatically increase your subscription each month according to your usage.

The more assets you store, the cheaper the storage becomes. You can see how much any level of usage will cost using the slides on our pricing page.

You can see what counts as an asset/storage on this page.

For monthly downloads

For total monthly downloads, we monitor your usage and the first time you go over your allowance, we will email you to let you know. We will then check again in a month's time, and if you are still over your allowance, we'll increase your subscription by the number of downloads in that second month.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I keep track of my number/volume of assets and monthly downloads?

Admins can check this by going to Admin > Account. See this article for more information.

My plan has increased due to being over my download limit two months in a row, but that was not usual and I'd like to downgrade.

No problem! Just check your usage after your next renewal to confirm your usage has actually gone back down, and then get in touch and we can put you back onto your lower plan.

Can I downgrade my annual plan?

We offer annual plans which come with a 10% discount. For that reason, you cannot downgrade your plan below the level you initially committed to. If your plan has grown since you signed up, you can of course reduce it back down to initial levels, if your usage has fallen.

Will my plan reduce automatically if I delete assets?

Our plans don't automatically decrease if you remove assets from your account. If you would like to reduce your plan in line with your assets, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to recommend a suitable plan and make that change for you.
