When using the search bar in Dash, you have the option to toggle on AI search. This means you can use everyday language or phrases to find your assets, even if they're not explicitly tagged with those keywords, e.g. "a dog with a plant":

When looking at an image, you can scroll down to see more like it. Dash groups visually similar images to help you find your best content faster:

Smart Tagging uses AI to suggest field values for your images based on your existing metadata. Rather than tagging each asset manually, you can quickly review and accept Dash’s intelligent recommendations:

When you import an asset into Dash, we automatically detect objects, text and embedded location data in the asset and add this information to the asset's metadata. This makes the asset instantly searchable by any user, without the need for manual tagging and organisation. You can find more information in our dedicated article here.

If your asset (including images and PDF documents) contains text, you can search for this text in the Dash search bar:
