Inserting an image from Dash into a page or blog post
To insert a Dash image into a page or blog post, you first need to import the asset into your Shopify Files and then insert it into the page:
To import the asset into your Files:
Navigate to your page, blog post or article
Click "More actions" in the menubar
Click "Import image from Dash"
You will now have full access to browse, search and filter for assets in your Dash
Navigate to and view the desired asset in Dash
Click "Upload to Shopify" and choose either the Original file or your desired preset size
To add the asset to your page:
Open and edit your page or blog post
Click the "Insert image" button in the editing toolbar
Choose the asset you previously imported
Where to find imported Dash assets
You can view all previously-imported assets in your Shopify Files section, which can be found by selecting Content > Files in the left sidebar.
Note - Adding an image from Dash creates a copy of that image in Shopify (found inthe Files section). That means any new versions you upload in Dash won't be reflected in Shopify and will need to be re-imported using any of the above steps. This is a limitation of how Shopify stores assets.
