Learn a common troubleshooting technique if you are having problems using Dash

If you have been experiencing problems using Dash, but have found that things work fine when using a private/incognito window, then you need to clear your the Dash cache.

This doesn't require clearing your entire browser cache, you can just clear the cache for a specific site, in this case it would be Dash.

To clear your browser's Dash cache

If you are using Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. To the left of the URL bar, click the settings icon

  3. Click "Cookies and site data"

  4. Click "Manage on-device site data"

  5. Delete all the rows shown

If you are using Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.

  2. Navigate to the website you want to clear the cache for.

  3. Press F12 on your keyboard (Windows) or Command + Option + I (Mac) to open the Developer Tools panel. Alternatively, click the three-dot menu (top-right corner), go to More tools, and select Developer tools.

  4. In the Developer Tools panel, click the Application tab at the top. If you don’t see it, click the » (More options) icon to find it.

  5. In the left-hand menu under Storage, click Clear storage.

  6. Ensure the following options are selected: Cookies, Local Storage, Cache Storage, and Session Storage.

  7. Scroll down and click Clear site data. This clears all locally stored data for the specific website without affecting other sites.

  8. Reload the website to apply the changes and fetch fresh content.
