In some situations organisations may wish their users to agree to that organisation's own Terms and Conditions before accessing their digital assets. You can do this with Dash.

By creating your own Terms and Conditions prompt, users of your Dash account will be shown a prompt requiring them to agree to your terms before they will be able to log in.

Once you enable custom Terms and Conditions, these will be shown to all users the next time they log in and will be required to be accepted for a user to proceed.

Create your Terms and Conditions prompt

To enable your own custom Terms and Conditions:

  1. As an Administrator, go to Admin > Users & Groups > Ts & Cs

  2. Click "Create new"

  3. Enter the URL that contains your Terms and Conditions. This should be a publicly available link, starting https://

  4. Enter the text statement that you would like your users to see alongside the link. For example "I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions"

  5. Click "Add"

Force users to re-accept the terms

If, for example, you have updated your terms, you may wish users to re-accept them.

To do this:

  1. As an Administrator, go to Admin > Users & Groups > Ts & Cs

  2. Click the three dots to the right of your terms preview

  3. Click "Force users to agree again"

Once clicked, all users will see the prompt the next time they sign in and will be required to tick the box in order to proceed.
