There are two levels of permissions in Dash:
1. Account-level permissions
Every user is either an Admin user or a non-admin user.
Admins can manage your Dash account, including users, folders, settings and integrations.
Non-admins don't have access to admin settings. Instead, what they can do depends on the folders they have access to.

2. Folder-level permissions
If someone is an Admin user, they automatically have upload and edit access to all folders.
If someone is a non-Admin user, you'll decide what level of access they have for each folder.
There are two permission levels:
Basic – can view, search, download and share assets.
Contributor – can also upload, edit and organise assets.
When inviting a user, you can assign these permissions:
Across all folders (the most common setup), or
Per folder, if different teams need different levels of access.
For example, someone could have Contributor access to your Marketing folder, but only Basic access to your Finance folder.
