When you first sign up for a Dash trial, you may notice that some features are not immediately available.
We restrict access to sharing features until your account has been verified, in order to protect ourselves and others from malicious use of Dash features by 'bad actors'.
What features are restricted prior to verification?
The following features will be unavailable until you have been verified:
Creating ad-hoc share links
Sharing collections
Creating portals
Creating embeddable links
How can I verify my account?
Just click the "Get verified" button on the "Get up and running" checklist on the Home page:
That will open up our in-app chat with a pre-populated message. Just hit Send and we'll start verification.
What does verification entail?
Verification simply means ensuring that you are a legitimate person/organisation genuinely intending to use Dash for real-world purposes.
How long does verification take?
Verification is very quick and should usually be done very soon after your send us the message.
