Often, you'll want to make the same update - for example, changing the expiry date or usage rights - for many assets at once. In Dash, there's no need to painstakingly do this one-by-one. This article will go over how to easily update assets in bulk.

Select the assets you want to update, following these instructions.

With your assets selected, hit the "Edit" icon on the top right, as you would for a single asset.

You'll then see the edit panel appear as usual where you can select the fields you want to update. Whilst editing, you can also de-select previously selected items if you change your mind about what you want to update.

No, but if you edit over 500 assets at once, you'll be prompted to review your edits before they're applied. We also won't show thumbnails, to improve performance.

There are some scenarios that might be a bit more complex or require multiple steps, such as updating assets with multiple fields/options at once, or finding all assets that match a certain criteria (e.g. a blank title) and then updating these.
