Unfortunately Dash does not offer automated facial recognition.

This was a feature we used to offer, but due to the ever-changing global legal landscape around this, and the obligations imposed on both us and our customers to continue offering and using this feature, we had to make the difficult decision to disable this, in June 2022.

We hope we can re-instate this feature again in the future, should the legal situation improve.

Are there any workarounds?

You can continue to use the "People" field however you wish, including entering the names of people shown in your assets. Any names will become searchable, allowing you to find any other assets that you have manually tagged with the same name.
